Our beachhouse sits directly on the Gulf of Mexico on one of Florida's most beautiful barrier islands. Accessible only by boat (2 water taxis service the island), Little Gasparilla Island offers a very private and relaxing beach vacation on a secluded tropical island.
Activities include some of Florida's best sport fishing, kayaking, snorkeling, wind-surfing, shelling, nearby golf (on the mainland) nature excursions, boating -- or restful naps in our hammocks!
Our Caribbean-inspired home is decorated with antiques and oriental carpets and features hardwood floors and soaring high ceilings. Each bedroom features a king-size bed and an additional daybed suitable for small children. We also offer a sofa bed and an old-Florida style screened sleeping porch with two twins. Our home includes all the amenities you need, plus some you might not expect: a library, piano, European bidet, downstairs outdoor beach shower, all appliances and linens, even a smoothie maker! Best of all, virtually every room offers a stunning view of the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Your well-behaved pets are welcome. Just bring your groceries, bathing suits and a tropical attitude! |
